The Southern California DHL company softball game was a thrilling event that brought together employees from multiple sites for a fun and competitive day. Adelanto Vs. Apple Duals
This past Thursday, November 21st, the energy was high as two schools faced off in the second wrestling Dual of the season, hosted by Adelanto High School. The competing athletes from Apple Valley High School bussed in some of their best and brightest to face the regions developing talent. The competition featured both boys JV and varsity teams, as well as an exciting girls varsity division. On the boys’ side, the JV wrestlers showcased their developing skills with plenty of fast-paced action and impressive matches that kept the crowd on their feet. Meanwhile, the varsity team bouts were a thrilling display of experience and strategy, with several nail-biting finishes and hard-fought victories. The girls’ varsity matches were equally exciting, as local talent rose to the occasion, demonstrating strength, technique, and determination. With both schools battling it out in several weight classes, the night was an unforgettable event that highlighted the athleticism, sportsmanship, and camaraderie of the wrestling community. I don’t know about you, but I am excited to see how the 2024-2025 wrestling season progresses in the High Desert!
Dual: Oak Hills @ AVHS

Apple @ Serrano Dual
On Wednesday, Serrano High School hosted an exciting wrestling dual against Apple Valley High School. The evening saw intense competition across multiple divisions. In the Junior Varsity boys' matchup, Apple Valley emerged victorious, showcasing their depth and skill on the mat. The Varsity Girls' competition was equally fierce, with Apple Valley claiming the win, demonstrating their strength and determination. However, for boys Varsity is was Serrano who triumphed, securing a hard-fought victory for their team. The dual was a thrilling display of talent, with both schools showing their wrestling prowess in a variety of categories. Damien Classic 2024
This past Saturday, December 14th, the Damien Academy hosted the highly anticipated Damien Classic wrestling tournament, which brought together schools from all across Southern California. The event showcased some of the region’s top high school wrestling talent, with teams competing in various weight classes and divisions. The atmosphere was electric as athletes battled on the mats, demonstrating their skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Schools from different areas came together to test their abilities against one another, creating a competitive yet supportive environment. The Damien Classic has provided a platform for wrestlers to challenge themselves and gain valuable experience early in the season.
